Split: Historical & Gastro Treasures Tour with Green Market

1.Split: Historical & Gastro Treasures Tour with Green Market

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 144 reviews · from $135Our pick

Spend three hours with an English-speaking local guide such as Hani, Olga, Christina, or Lucija, tasting prosciutto, cheese, soparnik, seafood, pasta, black risotto, wine, and grappa. You will visit Split’s Green Market and Diocletian’s Palace, with an afternoon option that replaces the market stop with tavern tastings.

“Hani was the perfect guide. Personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. She showed us and explained the diocletion palace and its origins and changes over the years and the way the palace is used today. But the best thing was the visit to the Green Market which was full of local produce that made you want to try everything! We had plenty of laughs and food along the way and we tried things we wouldn’t normally and found we like them! Would thoroughly recommend Hani as a way of getting to know the area and its customs. What a lovely morning 😁”
